Maps as Sonic Fictions

Imagination
A giant tree-like space: the trunk is time, and the branches are your past, present, and future. You can travel to each moment of your life, listening to whispers of memory, the faint light of the future, and possible sounds.

Structure
Trunk: The flow of time, slow and deep, connecting all nodes.
Branches: Childhood (laughter and cicadas), youth (flashes and excitement), loss (low tones and wind), unknown (transparent pulses and distant starlight).
Tree Hollow (Now): The center where all sounds converge—heartbeat, breathing, and the sound of wind resonate here.

Atmosphere
Slow, gentle, with twilight-like light. The air carries a soft breeze and faint traces of memory. Time feels stretched, and movement is guided by listening.

Soundscape (Walking Through)
Past: Children’s laughter, summer cicadas, fragmented conversations, grandmother cooking.
Present: Breathing, heartbeat, gentle wind, everyday sounds.
Future: Soft pulses, transparent electronic tones, faintly emerging.
